The City of Spring Hill Wastewater Treatment Facility operates and maintains a 5-million-gallon-per-day (MGD) treatment plant at 3893 Mahlon Moore Road.
Wastewater from residential and commercial customers is treated and disinfected before release into Rutherford Creek. The wastewater treatment plant provides treated irrigational water to Towhee Club Golf Course adjacent to the treatment facility.
