Just east of I-65, on the eastern edge of the Spring Hill city limits, sits an area of largely undeveloped land set for a major makeover.
At the June 20, 2023, Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) meeting, officials voted to approve a joint-development agreement between the City of Spring Hill and GV Spring Hills, LLC for the development of an Industrial Park within the city limits of Spring Hill.
The South Nashville Commerce Park is planned to be developed along Jim Warren Road. The 5.7 million square foot development will include industrial, logistical, and warehousing space within the city.
This plan will include improvements to Jim Warren Road.
Future plans associated with this project include significant infrastructure improvements to the region including on-ramp and off-ramp connections between Saturn Parkway, Interstate-65, and Duplex Road, in addition to other wet and dry utilities and supporting roadway infrastructure providing access to the Business Park and local roads.
In the future, the development will serve as a high-quality employment hub for the surrounding region.
South Nashville Commerce Park could potentially provide 10,000 new jobs across all income ranges, according to early projections.
